First edition and first printing. Cloth hardcover, with dust jacket, mylar wrap. One of Avedons best and most cohesive books, a look at "regular" people. Avedon traveled extensively taking a portable studio with him to and photograph his subjects in front of a white background which resulted in stark and striped down images. Features background text by Laura Wilson. A very fine copy in a very fine original mylar dust jacket. (The first two photos are taken with the mylar wrap removed.)
