This auction is for a high quality 19th century26" high x 12" wide x 5" deep cast solid brass FrenchCartel pendulum wall clock - The heavy 19# cast brass case has fabulous fancy ornate detail - It is fitted with a beveled glass door, a cast brass dial with porcelainRoman numeral cartouches and Fleur De Lys hands - The case is fitted with an 8 day, key wind, time and strike on a French bell with aBreguet style escapementmovement by L. Marti H & F of Paris, circa 1880 -Fabulous addition to any antique clock collection

The movement is marked:"84 48 Medaille De Bronze - L. Marti H & F Paris 1190"

It comes with its original pendulum and a key for winding - The movementhas been cleaned, serviced and it is in excellent working condition and strikes correctly-However, since it is an antique, it is being sold with no warranty or guarantee of accuracy - It is in excellent overall condition -The left side has light age related damage to the metal inserts - Barely noticeable - Stilldisplaysbeautifully-Buy with confidence you will not be disappointed
