This tach is very unique since it is made to fit in a 2 5/8 inch hole which is the same size as the larger Stewart Warner "Competition" gauges. The outside diamter of the bezel is about 2 3/4 inches. This tach is a real deal speed part from the mid 60s. The design is known as the Greenline tach due to the green color of the RPM band. The part number printed on the back of the tach is 813929 as shown. There is also a printed date of 2 64 which decodes as February, 1964. Most of the tachs you will see in this design will be lower max RPM. The small diameter 8,000 RPM Greenline tach is a rare and elusive unit. This is an awesome true vintage tachometer.

This tach has been tested and works flawlessly throughout the RPM band with no sticking or hesitation.
